The now traditional summer seminar of the Estonian Association of Architects, the Estonian Association of Interior Architects and the Estonian Landscape Architects’ Union will be taking place this year in the Latvian capital, Rīga. The event will be held on 30 June & 1 July at the Islande Hotel and the neighboring Faculty of Architecture building of Riga Technical University in Kipsala to enable Estonian architects to discuss infrastructure in today’s world with their Latvian and Lithuanian colleagues.

The seminar is taking place on 30 June, while 1 July will be given over to an architectural tour of Rīga led by local expert Artis Zvirgzdiņš. The ‘Connecting (in) infrastructure’ seminar will focus on various aspects of infrastructure, with input from Latvian, Danish, Polish and Estonian specialists. The full programme is yet to be confirmed, the current status is added below.

Accommodation is mainly at the Islande Hotel and partly at the Valdemara Hotel.
In addition, a meeting of Baltic architects organized by the Lithuanian and Latvian Architects' Associations will take place on July 2 in Ventspils. A city tour of Ventspils is planned, led by the City Architect, and an open-air gathering in the evening.
Participation in this event has a separate budget, everyone pays for accommodation and meals. One of our buses travels from Riga to Ventspils and brings everyone back to Tallinn by the evening of July 3.
